The Honours Board already listed centuries and five-wicket hauls at Linton Park and Rumwood. It now also carries the grounds' own records, set by either side: highest and lowest completed team totals, the highest match aggregates, and who has played most often at each ground. Linton Park's highest is 348-3 declared by Anchorians in 2007; the lowest completed innings is 13 all out. Senior cricket only — age-group pairs cricket has no all-out, so its totals are not comparable.

Duck and Ducklings board had parents and children the wrong way round
The Duck and Ducklings honours board names the parent and the child when a father and son both bag a duck in the same match. For 15 of its 43 entries the two were swapped — Martin Harris was shown as Jon's father rather than his son, and Jordan Austin as Mark's. It now reads the recorded family relationship rather than guessing from the order the players appear on the scorecard. Raised by a member through the report form.

Digital sponsors now have their own section
Our digital sponsorship package — the banner that runs on the Fixtures and Results pages all season — now has its own section on the Sponsors page, showing who holds it rather than only listing it as available. BeeSec appear there as the current holder alongside their listing as a financial supporter.

Fixture forecasts had stopped updating
The weather shown against upcoming fixtures had quietly stopped refreshing, so a forecast could be several days out of date — a washout could still be showing long after the rain had cleared from the forecast. It now updates every morning again, and the forecast block is showing on the Fixtures page as intended.

Chance of play now judged on playing hours only
The forecast used to be measured over the whole day, midnight to midnight, so rain at nine in the evening could mark a dry afternoon as a washout. Rain and temperature are now measured only between 12pm and 8pm, and a game is called doubtful only for sustained rain across the afternoon — a passing shower no longer counts against it. Each fixture also says why, such as ‘passing showers · 1 wet hour’.

League games and league positions on the Fixtures page
Every upcoming fixture is now marked as a league game or a friendly. For league games it also names the division and shows where both sides currently stand — position and points — so you can see what is riding on the game before you go.

Duck Report for 22–23 August named the wrong players
That week's Duck Report credited Jordan and Benjamin Austin with ducks against Sibton Park, when the only duck in that game was Tom Campbell. The scorecard on Play-Cricket was still incomplete when the report was written, and was corrected afterwards. The report has been rewritten from the corrected scorecard. Reports are now re-checked daily against the scorecards and rewritten automatically if a card is corrected later. Duck totals and the honours boards were never affected — they are always counted fresh from the scorecards.

Match report weather corrected across the archive
Captain's match reports open with the conditions on the day. These were taken from whole-day figures, so a game played in the dry could be described as wet because rain fell that evening. Conditions are now measured across playing hours only, and 215 reports have been rewritten to match — a game with no rain during play now reads as a cloudy afternoon rather than a wet one.

Missing club badges in the league tables
Several clubs in our division tables were showing a blank grey disc instead of their badge — Rainham, Walmer, Holborough Anchorians, Harvel, Gills Green, Rolvenden, Orpington Ocelots and Stone-in-Oxney. Every club in every table we mirror now shows its badge, and new clubs will pick theirs up automatically.

Results and scorecards now show which team was playing
Results and scorecards now name the exact side — Saturday 1st XI, Sunday 1st XI, Midweek and so on — for both Linton and the opposition, not just the club badge.

Weather forecast and chance of play on the Fixtures page
Each upcoming fixture now shows the forecast — temperature and rain — with a ‘chance of play’ indicator. As rain is the only thing that stops us, a wet forecast flags a game as doubtful so you know before setting off. Updated daily as the forecast firms up, roughly a fortnight ahead.

League points on results and scorecards
Every league result now carries the points it earned. Each Kent Cricket League and Kent Village Cricket League match on the results page shows a points badge, and hovering it breaks down exactly how the total was reached — the win or the batting and bowling bonus points, against the league’s own playing conditions. The full breakdown also appears on each scorecard. The two Kent Cricket League scoring systems are both handled: the eighteen-point win with batting and bowling bonuses used from the Premier down to Division 5, and the twenty-point win with margin-of-defeat and bowling bonus points used in the lower divisions. The figures reconcile exactly to Play-Cricket’s own season totals.

Ball-by-ball — the correct batsman named at each wicket
On the ball-by-ball scorecards, when two players shared a surname (three Maliks in one innings, for example) the wrong one could be shown as out. Each fall of wicket now names the correct batsman, and historic scorecards show full player names throughout.

Captain’s Log — opposition ducks no longer placed in our innings
In a handful of match reports, a duck by an opposition batsman who shared a surname with one of ours was being described as if it were our wicket. The reports now keep every batsman firmly on the right side.

The Duck Pond — browse by season, back through the club’s history
The weekly Duck Report gazette now loads one season at a time (newest first) so the page stays quick, and the archive is being filled in right back through the club’s history — each historic report written in the language of its own era. The weekly report also now generates and publishes itself automatically.

Match data now from the official ECB Play-Cricket feed
Scorecards, results and player records now come directly from the official ECB Play-Cricket data feed rather than by reading the web pages. That means cleaner dismissals, correct player names, gaps filled in and more accurate figures right across the site. You'll see a ‘Powered by ECB Play-Cricket’ note in the footer.

Wicket-keeping stats on player cards
Player cards now show a wicket-keeping line (catches and stumpings) for anyone who kept, alongside their batting and bowling. Keeping appearances now also count towards a player's games total, so long-serving keepers whose old batting cards are incomplete no longer have their turnouts undercounted.

Orange & Purple Caps on the Players page
IPL-style caps on the Players page: pick a season and squad and the squad's leading run-scorer gets the Orange Cap and its leading wicket-taker the Purple Cap — a coloured badge and a tinted card. Choose 'All squads' and it's the whole club's leaders that season. It updates as you change the season or team.

The Top 5 page now has an 'All teams' option to rank players across every senior side together, and a 'Show' menu to list anywhere from the top 5 up to the top 50 in each discipline.

Player cards now show stats and games played
Each player card on the Players page now shows that player's runs, average and strike rate (and wickets and bowling average for bowlers), scoped to the season and squad you've picked. The cards also now count games played rather than batting innings — a truer measure of how many times someone turned out, since it counts a game even when a player didn't bat.

Pick a season and squad on the Players page and you'll now see a whole-team overview above the player cards: total runs and wickets, with batting average and strike rate and bowling average and economy. Choose 'All squads' for the whole club's figures that season. Strike rate and economy show for seasons with ball-by-ball data.

Video, highlights and ball-by-ball on scorecards
Scorecards for electronically-scored games now bring the match to life. Where a game was filmed, its scorecard carries a carousel of highlight clips — every four, six and wicket — and a Full match tab that plays the club's video (falling back to YouTube where embedding is turned off). Electronically-scored games also show the ball-by-ball: an over-by-over run worm, run-rate and a full delivery breakdown with commentary. Highlights and video are shown for senior matches only.

Player cards now scoped to the selected season
On the Players page the pills on each card were showing career achievements even when a single season was selected — so a player's lifetime hundreds and fifties, and duck-board badges such as a duck on debut, appeared under the wrong season. The batting pills, innings count and duck/dishonour badges now reflect the season and squad you have chosen, and only show a badge in the season it was actually earned.

A number of older Captain's Log reports were showing stray draft notes before the report itself. These have been cleaned up and the affected reports rewritten.

Historical match reports in period voice
The skipper's match reports for our oldest games now read in a period register — a measured late-Victorian and Edwardian tone for matches up to 1914, and an interwar voice for 1919 to 1953 — for a touch of historic charm.

Phone numbers and email addresses have been removed from the Join and club pages and replaced with a contact form, so members' personal details can't be harvested by bots.

Weather on away-game scorecards and results
Away fixtures were sometimes showing Linton's weather rather than the ground where the game was actually played. Each venue's location is now resolved from the host club's own records, so the forecast shown matches the real venue.

Two new heritage pages. The Founders page marks the club's beginnings on Coxheath in 1787, with the original roll of subscribers and the line of clubs that led to Linton Park. The Memorial page carries a Roll of Honour for the four members who gave their lives in the Second World War.

A new Players section: every player sorted into their squad by season, with a profile you can slice by season and squad — career and per-season batting, bowling and fielding, feats and milestones, form index /1000, MVP & MVDH worms, a wagon wheel from ball-by-ball data, and how they get out / take their wickets. ‘X won by’ results miscounted as losses
Results where a Linton XI is named as the winner (e.g. ‘Sunday NVKC won by 140 runs’) were being read as defeats across several boards. Now judged from Linton’s point of view, so the 1999 NVKC side correctly shows as unbeaten and win/loss records are right.
