🦆 MVDH — Most Valuable Duck Hunter

The Duck Club's own MVP. Not for the runs you made — for the noughts you bagged. Every duck scores, the rarer the sweeter, consecutive quacks stack ten-pin style, and a rich spread of categories pile on the bonuses. A leaderboard nobody wants to top.

📐 How MVDH is scored

Base: just 2 points a duck — a plain nought barely registers.
Category bonuses (+3 each — and every one is a real Duck Club board): platinum (opener, first ball) · diamond (out without facing) · it's doing a bit (both openers) · lone duck · only-two-quacks · most-ducks-in-an-innings · captain quack · debutante · retirement · one-and-done · homebody/road (home or away) · duck & ducklings (family) · two of a quack (siblings) · quacked by kin · tourist duck (on tour) · birthday duck. Stack the categories and a single duck can be agony.
Season accolades (+3 each): a head start for the reigning Duck of the Year (won it last season), and an end-of-season bonus for anyone who played 50%+ of the games for the Team Duck of the Year.
Streak MULTIPLIER (ten-pin style): a run of consecutive ducks multiplies the whole duck — base and every category — by its place in the streak. The Nth on the bounce is worth ×N. A second is a Double (×2), a third a Turkey (×3)… so a loaded duck mid-streak absolutely skyrockets.
Pair (both innings ducks): +3; a King pair (two goldens): +5. Senior cricket only.
